What I wore: Vintage outfit post

Since finishing freelancing for Coast last week I have been catching up with many things such as ... post runs, sorting bookkeeping, tidying... pretty boring stuff really! I wore this simple outfit for the majority of these tasks. My fitted vintage wool coat in black (I love the peter pan collar), a loose fitting vintage dress, a warm vintage fur hat (much needed in this cold weather!) and comfy suede wedges. It done the job nicely :) I am currently listing new vintage clothes for The Attic People Vintage and preparing for a January sale so be sure to check back soon!

Over Christmas part 1: Winter Wonderland

Christmas time is our favourite time of year... me and Ross both love to relish in the magical christmas spirit in as many ways possible! This year we decided to spend the christmas period together... just me and Ross for our first year here in London. We had a crazy few weeks building up to christmas with lots of mini christmas celebrations packed with visits and nights out with friends and family ( I will share this with you soon). As for now here are some photos from winter wonderland trip on christmas eve... this was a very magical start to christmas :) Hope you all are having a wonderful time? For us christmas certainly does not end till after the New Year!

Vintage outfit post: In our pad

A small introduction to our London pad! We usually take outfit photos outside but what a pain when it's raining/windy right? Whilst waiting for the rain to subside Ross snapped a few photosof me inside wearing my new vintage dress and winter coat from The Attic People Vintage! This vintage tapestry bag was a lucky charity shop find last year in Liverpool... Its a perfect size for shopping.

Speaking of shopping I have been busy buying and sourcing many new fabrics for a new project I am working on which will be show cased in December on The Attic People Vintage online! I will keep you updated with my progress here.

Vintage outfit post: Borough Market

The Attic People Vintage” title=
London has so many wonderful places and things to explore. Since we settled here in May me and Ross  made a pact between us to try something new each weekend. So far we have pretty much achieved this, even if it is a small thing like trying a new restaurant, or walking through a different park or market. Last Saturday afternoon was spent browsing around bustling Borough market, we drank warm spiced cider and filled our bellies with yummy pulled pork baguettes. I can imagine this place will be very magical nearer to christmas!

Last week was pretty quiet here as I was freelancing for Coast in their head office off of Old Street. I was working on artworks for their S/S 2012 Collection which looks like it's going to be very beautiful. This week should be back to normal with more frequent posts. Hope you enjoy the pictures... I am also looking forward to catching up on your posts too :)

Vintage outfit post: The streets of London

Weekends have been super relaxed for us lately, I hope to continue this vibe over the couple of days...even weeks before the winter celebrations start! Last sunday was spent strolling around East London's brick lane and Spitalfields market (where we have had previous vintage outfit post's). The weather was warm and the sun was shining, we ate pad thai, took in the stunning East London architecture, and browsed through the markets.

Today we're going to explore Borough Market which is a wholesale and retail food market in Southwark, London. It has lots of different types of food there like fish, meats, vegetables, ciders, cheeses, breads, coffees, cakes and patisseries. Loads of yummy food and drink to sample! Always good to explore a new place. Have a great weekend everyone!

Vintage Mens Clothing : Outfit Post

Mens vintage clothes” title=
These photos were taken last night before ross went to out to meet his friend. I snapped him in a bit of a hurry but I really wanted to capture this outfit. I love it when Ross mixes vintage with new making good use of his accessories. I like the clashing prints and colours for this smart casual look. I may have inspired Ross to be bolder with his choice of prints and colours but in my eyes he can pull this off well! Ross is quite open to experiment with his clothes I adore this about him :) Have you managed to influence your boyfriend/husband/friends with what they wear?

Ross wearing: Vintage Jacket from our Vintage Mens Clothing, Charity shop vintage tie and shoes I picked up for Ross, Vintage belt fromVintage Mens Clothing, Trousers and shirt from Topman.

Vintage outfit post: Walthamstow Art Deco Town Hall

Me and ross took a little time out this week to explore Walthamstow, It could be a potential next move for us here in London. Whilst looking around the green part of the area we stumbled across this incredible grand Art Deco building which is the town hall. We walked around so much that day but stopping to have a rest here definitely made our aching feet worth while!

One of my favorite textile designers William Morris was also born here too. I was totally unaware of this until researching the area a little more... this adds even more charm to the area for me.
Have a great weekend all :)
