Train journeys filled with views of  beautiful English countryside inspire me greatly. Living in London over the last six months makes me appreciate these sights even more! These photos were captured on my iphone from some recent trips up north. I feel very peaceful looking at these photos :)

Vintage outfit post: Borough Market

London has so many wonderful places and things to explore. Since we settled here in May me and Ross  made a pact between us to try something new each weekend. So far we have pretty much achieved this, even if it is a small thing like trying a new restaurant, or walking through a different park or market. Last Saturday afternoon was spent browsing around bustling Borough market, we drank warm spiced cider and filled our bellies with yummy pulled pork baguettes. I can imagine this place will be very magical nearer to christmas!

Last week was pretty quiet here as I was freelancing for Coast in their head office off of Old Street. I was working on artworks for their S/S 2012 Collection which looks like it's going to be very beautiful. This week should be back to normal with more frequent posts. Hope you enjoy the pictures... I am also looking forward to catching up on your posts too :)

This weekend was so relaxed I loved it. We have done a fare amount of traveling around the country over the summer so it felt so nice to be at home and enjoy London in a super relaxed way.

We started off the weekend with a nice lie in followed by freshly baked berry and cinnamon muffins for breakfast baked by myself, they turned out very yummy I must say. Me and Ross went our separate ways in the afternoon to spend some time with friends. I headed down to broadway market with my dear friend Neil, we browsed through the stalls, went for lunch and stopped of at some lovely East London cafes for lattes. Ross headed into central London to the film musem with his long time friend Tim.

Sunday was spent indoors just lazing around for a change! How was your weekend?

Vintage outfit post: Autumn change

The past few weeks have been so busy! We have had wedding's and parties to attend, lots of freelance deadlines to complete, as well as shooting all of our new vintage stock that should hit The Attic People Vintage online within the next couple of weeks. It feels more like Autumn here now after that beautiful freak October heat-wave the weather now feels as it should for this time of year. Lat weekend I pulled out a new vintage dress and mac coat I have been waiting patiently to wear and that day was the perfect temperature. Ross also pulled out one of his hats for the first time in ages which was nice.

I love this time of year, so many amazing colours everywhere from the bark of the trees to the pretty leaves on the floor. Since these photos were taken I have had a change in hair style which I will share with you soon, As you can see my roots were in need of some colour and by bleach blonde locks were sadly unhealthy. Hope your all having a good week so far :)

Better late than never...Vintage outfits from Birmingham

We took these photos last weekend whilst visiting Ross's Nanna, Aunt and Uncle in Birmingham just before all these horrible riots kicked off around the country. This is a bit of a late weekend outfit post but at least anther weekend is almost here!

The weekend was lovely, we spent Saturday relaxing, looking through old family photographs and eating dinner at The Queens pub in the beautiful English countryside. On Sunday Ross's nanna surprised me with a bundle of amazing vintage dress's from the 50's and 60's for me to take home... I couldn't have been more happier to accept these stunning dresses which I will share with you soon. We also went for a walk in the Clent hills and ended sunday with another full tummy from a home cooked roast dinner. There are lots of inspiring old houses in Birmingham, check out the ones above.

Its been a strange and worrying week with all the pointless riots which were so close to us, things seem a lot calmer now and I'm hoping it stays this way for all of the UK.

Any interesting plans for this weekend?
