This is one of my favourite all time vintage 50s dresses from my own wardrobe. I have owned this beauty for a couple of years now, It's travelled with me to Paris, Milan, Switzerland and Bali... so I have many fond memories wearing this dress :)

I originally sourced this for The Attic People Vintage but it ended up fitting me so perfectly I had to keep it. I just love the forest green with the colourful pops of colour and the pretty florals. This will certainly be a keeper forever!

These photos were taken around Spitalfields market. Every thursday the stalls are mainly vintage home wares, fabrics, books and a few clothes stalls. I brought a few nice things which I will share with you soon.

So the weekend is here already! Any interesting plans? The weather is still very temperamental and rainy here in London so I think we will make weekend decisions based on the weather. We will be watching Glastonbury tonight on tv... I'm not wishing I was there; thinking of all the mud already. I have been to Glastonbury in the past but really prefer the smaller festivals that are a little more laid back. Last year we went to Latitude which I would very much recommend. What's your favourite summer festival... be it tiny small or ridiculously large?

Wearing: Vintage 50s floral dress, Topshop socks, sandals from chairty shop, vintage suede bag from The Attic People Vintage.

  1. Having some serious outfit envy here, this is AMAZING! One of the prettiest vintage dresses I've seen, so gorgeous. I'm bored of the rain now and am wishing for sun so I can go to a BBQ tomorrow, have a good one whatever you get up to! :)

  5. oh, the weather here in germany is equally rainy and cold :( I'm not a big fan of these really large festivals. Instead of festivals, I prefer smaller concerts of the bands I love. Just loved the concert of the Kills I have been with my hubby :)
