One of my favourite new vintage dresses I kept back for myself from our recent buying trip. Love the shape, the colour, the fabric, the swing in the skirt and the ruched sleeves...this dress makes me feel good:) What dresses in your wardrobe appeal to you the most at the moment?

Happy valentines! Ross made me a delicious breakfast this morning and now were off out for some more fun. Enjoy today what ever your plans may be x

Ps: We have over 60 auctions up form £4.95 on The Attic People ebay ending this sunday and more new stock added to The Attic People Vintage plus 25% off everything!!

Vintage sent across the globe...

Selling vintage clothes can be hard at times right? Having to decide what to sell and what not to sell can be difficult sometimes. When sifting through new stock I tend to make a "keep myself" pile which gradually gets way too high so I will usually have to whittle it down!

This lovely dress above was sold along with another to the lovely Marisa of Shades of Monet. Im so glad this vintage dress ended up across the globe into such a stylish wardrobe. I love the way Marisa has styled this dress with daring pops of red and that sweet daisy broach. It's very rewarding being able to see how our customers choose to style and wear our vintage :) Be sure to check out Marisa's blog for lots more amazing outfit posts!

The Wizard of Oz

These photos are a little delayed but too good not to post! Over the Christmas period Ross booked us tickets to see The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium. I am a huge fan of The Wizard of Oz, I couldn't count the amount of times I have seen this film if I tried my hardest. Our seats were almost front row (thanks Ross) and the London Palladium was just beautiful. I was a little apprehensive before watching the show as I didn't want to be disappointed but there was no need for that as it was everything I expected it to be :)

We have been super busy here, both freelancing for most of January. I really admire those of you who work full-time away from home and still manage to create beautiful and frequent posts! Hopefully I can keep this blog more up to date again now! We went on a buying trip last week and sourced lots of stunning pieces for The Attic People vintage ... just need to photograph and list them now. I will look forward to catching up on your blogs and hearing from you's over the next few days :)

What I wore: Vintage outfit post

Since finishing freelancing for Coast last week I have been catching up with many things such as ... post runs, sorting bookkeeping, tidying... pretty boring stuff really! I wore this simple outfit for the majority of these tasks. My fitted vintage wool coat in black (I love the peter pan collar), a loose fitting vintage dress, a warm vintage fur hat (much needed in this cold weather!) and comfy suede wedges. It done the job nicely :) I am currently listing new vintage clothes for The Attic People Vintage and preparing for a January sale so be sure to check back soon!

Don't get me wrong Im still very into winter dressing and layering but the colours in the new Topshop Spring Equinox collection are making me feel very optimistic about spring/summer dressing already!

Happy New year 2012!! Here are more photos of our christmas here in London. It was very peaceful and cosy. We ate so much nice food, drank many white Russians, watched countless movies and got hooked on Monopoly. I loved every minute of relaxing but I'm really looking forward to the start of 2012 and getting back into the swing of things. The blog may be a little quiet this week as I'm working freelance for Coast again in their Old Street head office but I will try and say hello :)

Well heres to 2012.. I wish you all a healthy and happy year!
